"Working-cabinet" with music-clock, 1776.Marquetry, mainly acorn wood, also rosewood, gilded bronze fittings. Clock and its mechanism by Peter Kinzing. Made for Prince Karl of Lothringen. A similar cabinet was made for Louis XIV, who,according to his diary, "1779,mois d'avril le 11, j'ai paye aux Allemands pour une grande commode 2.400 livres". It disappeared during the First Empire.
