Great Hall of the palace of the wealthy Fugger-
family in Kirchheim an der Mindel, Bavaria. The
hall is 30 m long, 12 m wide and  10 m high; the
ceiling is carved of cedar wood from  Lebanon, wood
which is iimmune to vermin and insects.

an der Mindel,Germany. The ceiling is 30 x 10 m large, 
the woodcarving 2 m deep. Carved by Wendel Dietrich,
master carpenter in Augsburg. Cedar wood was chosen
because it repels insects. 1578-1585

Garden room (around 1770) with gilded stove in form
