Pharaoh Djozer (3rd Dynasty, 3rd mill. BCE). This is   
one of the more than 250 inscribed stones on Seheil    
Island, South of Assuan, Egypt.

Joseph and the Pharaoh, 1300-1330. In the top left Joseph is interpreting the pharaoh's dream: there would be seven years of good harvest, followed by seven years of famine.
During the fat years the Egyptians store food and survive, unlike their neighbours. Bottom left: Joseph and his brothers; right: a man is ordered to be bound and led away.
