The barrel-vaulted synagogue from Horb, Germany.       
Ceiling and panelling were painted in 1735. The        
synagogue in Horb is the only remaining synagogue      
of hundreds of similar buildings. It survived Nazi-    
destruction in the Bamberg Museum.

was imprisoned by German King Rudolf von Habsburg      
and died in prison in the tower of Ensisheim. Visitors 
leave small stones on the tombs as sign of remembrance.
