but were removed to the al-Muayyad-mosque in the 15th

Mihrab and Minbar in the mosque of Ahmad al-Burdayni.  
Begun by the religious Shafi-scholar Burdayni,it was   
finished by a rich merchant in 1694. Marble panels,    
marble- and mosaic arcading, marble roundels. The      
minbar is of cedar-wood. 1616-1629,1694.
