drawing or engraving of the bust of the "Pseudo-Seneca"
found at the Villa dei papiri in Herculanum.

Nicolas Fouquet (1615-1689),minister of finance        
to king Louis XIV. Fouquet built Vaux-le-Vicomte,      
a luxurious residence which contributed to his fall    
from royal grace in 1661. He died, still a prisoner,   
in a small fortress in the Savoyan Alps.
