Borromaeus and erected in memory of the end of         
the plague in 1713. One of the two columns which flank 
the facade, inspired by the Trajan-column in Rome.     
The relief shows the deeds of Emperor Karl VI.

gardens. The earliest "dwarf-garden",the garden of     
Mirabell-Palace in Salzburg,was created by Fischer von 
Erlach around 1690/91. The gardener with his shovel    
stands for the month of March.
