Judas' betrayal and arrest of Jesus

And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was calledJudas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near untoJesus to kiss him. But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thouthe Son of man with a kiss? When they which were about himsaw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smitewith the sword? And one of them smote the servant of the highpriest, and cut off his right ear. And Jesus answered and said,Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.

Matthew 26, 14 - 16

Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chiefpriests, And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliverhim unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces ofsilver. And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.

Matthew 26, 45 - 46

Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleepon now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, andthe Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Rise, letus be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.

Mark 14, 43 - 44

And immediately, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priest and the scribes and the elders. And he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; take him, and lead him away safely.

John 18, 10 - 11

Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus. Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?
