The Tower of the Winds, Athens, Greece.
In Athens (1751) James Stuart and Nicholas Revett made accurate measurements of the ruins, particularly those of the Acropolis, and published their findings in "The Antiquities of Athens", the first volume of which appeared in 1762. Its excellent illustrations depicted for the first time the great achievements of Greek architecture.

The Completion of the Royal Crescent, Bath.

The Royal Crescent is an exclusive residential road of 30 houses, laid out in a crescent, in the city of Bath, England. It was designed by John Wood the Younger and built between 1767 and 1774. It is amongst the greatest examples of Georgian architecture to be found in the United Kingdom.
