The Yehi'am (Yehiam) Fortress, built in the early 13th by     
the Templar Knights and bought later by the Teutonic   
Knights. It is located in the village Jiddin, that the Crusaders referred to as Judyn or Judin. The building formed part of the string of fortresses protecting the plain of Akko. Captured and partly       
destroyed by Mamluk sultan Baibars in 1265.
