Primrose Waltz composed by A.G. Tarbet showing the portrait of Benjamin Disraeli, Lord Beaconsfield (1804-1881), Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. The Primrose League was formed in 1883 by admirers of Benjamin Disraeli, who had died two years earlier. Its aims were to promote Conservative Party principles and imperialism.
